MUGN 456: Building a Career in Chamber Music

This course equips students with entrepreneurial, artistic, and professional tools to launch and sustain a career in chamber music. Topics include ensemble development, programming, networking, financial literacy, and industry navigation. Students create a career plan and professional portfolio. Students will develop and implement an original entrepreneurial project and create a professional portfolio aligned with current industry expectations.
 

Course Delivery and Format: This course will be delivered through a combination of online and in-person sessions, following a consistent progression aligned with the course syllabus regardless of format. In-person sessions will emphasize elements that benefit from face-to-face interaction, including public speaking, presentation skills, and active class participation.
